Job Overview
Reporting to the Regional Product Management Lead Global Automotive Data Connectivity AMS, the Product Manager will be responsible for product revenue, standard cost, driving growth, and OI as well as product portfolio management, and product definition with key applications for the Data Connectivity Differential product line in the AMS region. This role will partner closely with the regional Data Connectivity Product Management team as well as key regional stake holders cross-functionally, especially, but not limited to leaders from Sales, Operations, Project and Program Management, Procurement, Manufacturing and Product Engineering. The drivers to successfully getting the business to the next phase of growth, include:
Gaining market share with data connectivity product portfolios in differential component and assembly product families and associated markets. Influence cross functional teams to scale new product portfolios profitability, driving operational efficiency and optimization of global manufacturing footprints. Develop strong relationships with key accounts and align with other product lines and BU’s to create cross selling synergies. Build out product roadmaps in technically complex market environments, aligning with key accounts and create differentiation in target applications. Assess and articulate opportunities with new technological trends ensuring long-term continuous pipeline growth and enabling sales force to capture and secure new opportunities. Supply the forecast demand for its current assignment in alignment with Sales and demand management team and/or consolidate the Demand Forecast for the team. Participate into the Product review, Demand review, supply review process and the Financial review reconciliation review. Active participation and coordination of global production capacities and definition of localization activities for the product portfolio. Drive Benchmarking and Analysis of competitors, their products and market strategies. What your background should look like:
