Production Supervisor II

Delivery of all key performance metrics on a particular shift/project, with a particular focus on "Core 5" and "9 panel" metrics. Liaising with warehousing, quality assurance, bulk-packaging and sterilization areas to ensure prompt shipment of product. Maintaining GMP / Housekeeping at a high level within the department through the involvement of all team members. Cross-functional management of QA, materials, IS and HR support for the team. Interacting and liaising with the other manufacturing teams and Logistics to prioritize backorders. Administration duties which include Time and Attendance system, Holiday planning, Build Plan review, Back Order review, Travel planning etc.

Minimum Degree in any field, preferably in Manufacturing, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline. Minimum 3 years of experience in production supervision with experience managing 30–40 operators. Experience in Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives. Proven experience leading manufacturing teams and driving operational excellence. Strong understanding of production operations, workforce management, and manufacturing processes. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Ability to drive production teams and core teams to achieve operational objectives. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. People management and team leadership capabilities. Knowledge of headcount planning and capacity planning. Production planning and execution. Cross-functional collaboration with Quality, Materials, Logistics, Engineering, and HR. Problem-solving and decision-making skills. Continuous improvement and Lean Manufacturing mindset. Working experience in the medical device industry will be an added advantage.
