Group Product Manager, Voice Experiences on Search

We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users. In this role, you will help make interacting with Google Search as natural as talking to a human. By fusing Gemini audio intelligence with consumer design, you will help users turn thoughts into interactive conversations and navigate Google Search.In Google Search, we're reimagining what it means to search for information – any way and anywhere. Lead the end-to-end product goal, streamlining and integration of Search microphones and Search Live into a cohesive, simplified consumer experience within main Search. Evolve the Voice Search stack away from legacy auto-endpointing to support natural, long-form queries, multimodal inputs, and advanced multilingual capabilities powered by Gemini models. Scale Search Live to deliver deep, natural, proactive voice conversations and educational use cases backed by on-screen visuals. Partner closely with Gemini research and engineering teams to translate cutting-edge AI breakthroughs into production-grade consumer features while balancing scale, cost, and latency.

Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. 10 years of experience in product management or a related technical role. 5 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, end-to-end, 0 to 1, etc). 3 years managing and developing consumer-facing mobile or AI-driven UX products. Experience leading Product Management (PM) teams (e.g., people management). Preferred qualifications: 7 years of experience working cross-functionally with engineering, UX/UI, sales finance, and other stakeholders. 5 years of experience in a role preparing and delivering technical presentations to executive leadership. Experience building products that are focused on consumer behavior, audio design, and conversational user interfaces. Experience balancing consumer reach with infrastructure constraints (e.g., cost, latency, and model optimization). Familiarity with modern machine learning, audio models (ASR, text-to-speech), LLMs, and foundational models (such as Gemini).
