The Engineering Development Program (EDP) in Product Engineering provides entry-level engineers an opportunity to gather experiences and exposures throughout John Deere. It provides rotational opportunities to develop an understanding of John Deere's products and services and establish a network of people to support personal and professional growth. The program gives recent engineering graduates three experiences over a two year period. The eight-month rotations include assignments in areas like Controls & Simulation, Drivetrain, Electronics, Embedded Software, Engines, Structures — all possible at various John Deere locations. Possible Locations: Georgia (Grovetown), Illinois (Moline), Iowa (Davenport, Des Moines, Dubuque, Ottumwa, Waterloo), North Carolina (Cary, Fuquay-Varina), Wisconsin (Horicon) Visa Sponsorship is not available for this position. Currently pursuing or recent college graduate with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related Engineering degree with an anticipated graduation date of December 2026 through August 2027
Desired cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale. Minimum cumulative GPA required of 2.8 on a 4.0 scale
