Job Description
Department Summary: This role is withing US FCRM (Financial Crimes Risk Management) group of TD Bank. The new hire will lead, develop, and oversee a team of professionals who supports, policies, standards, and provide oversight, expert policy and regulatory guidance, and advice related to TD’s Data Governance Process. Provides strategic and day-to-day direction on a broad range of complex AML Data Governance program activities, including operational support, providing governance and support, and addressing and escalating related issues. Oversees the timely execution of periodic and event-driven reviews to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements. Serves as the primary escalation point for Data Governance matters or exceptions. Identifies and implements risk mitigation strategies for findings from risk assessments, audit findings, regulatory exams, and potential violations of law. Coordinates with internal and external stakeholders (such as auditors and regulators) to provide necessary documentation and support during audits and examinations related to AML Data Governance / regulatory compliance.
Job Summary
The Senior Manager, Business Intelligence leads a specialized team of professionals varying in size and complexity that are responsible for reporting and/or BI for a key business / function in the creation of new reports and data extracts. This role contributes to the design / direction of key strategic BI related projects / initiatives to ensure critical data and reporting elements are included and all business needs are met. Depth & Scope: Provides people management leadership by hiring the best talent, setting goals, developing staff, managing employee performance and compensation decisions, promoting teamwork and handling any/all disciplinary actions, as required Oversees and leads a large and/or highly complex, and diverse reporting function for an area of significant risk, complexity or scope Strategic partner to leadership team on the management of the portfolio and financials, with deep industry, external / internal, enterprise knowledge, recognizes and anticipates emerging trends and; identifies operational efficiencies and opportunities with other business management / enterprise areas Facilitates key strategic discussions and provides thought leadership to executive audience (output may include strategic roadmap and/or deliverables / frameworks / short to long term goals etc.) Sets operational team direction and collaborates with others to execute on common goals Focuses on longer-range planning for functional area (e.g. 12 months or greater) Preferred Skills : Extensive experience on AML and financial crimes related regulatory reporting. Advanced Knowledge of best practice of data controls to mitigate data risk in the space of AML; solid understanding of how data is enabling AML capabilities/use cases, able to explain "so-what" from AML risk & control perspective.
