Job Function: Human Resources Job Sub Function: Total Rewards Job Category: Professional All Job Posting Locations: Bogotá, Distrito Capital, Colombia Job Description: DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a(n) Manager, Compensation Americas, located in Bogota, Colombia. The Manager, Global Compensation Americas plays a key role in delivering compensation programs and services across the Americas region, ensuring pay practices remain competitive, equitable , compliant, and aligned with business priorities. This role partners closely with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, Finance, and business leaders to support compensation planning, job evaluations, organizational changes, and market competitiveness. The position serves as a trusted advisor on compensation matters, leveraging data and market insights to inform decision-making and drive consistency across the region while aligning with global compensation strategies, governance, and frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the execution of compensation programs and processes across the Americas region, including annual compensation planning, salary review cycles, incentive administration, and off-cycle compensation actions. Partner with HR Business Partners, business leaders, and Talent Acquisition to provide compensation guidance and recommendations supporting talent attraction, retention, and mobility. Conduct job evaluations, market pricing, and benchmarking analyses to ensure appropriate positioning within global job architecture and compensation frameworks. Analyze compensation data, market trends, and internal pay practices to develop insights and recommendations that support informed business decisions. Support compensation activities related to organizational design, workforce planning, acquisitions, integrations, and other business transformation initiatives. Ensure compliance with compensation policies, governance requirements, regulatory standards, and pay transparency initiatives across the Americas region. Collaborate with Global Compensation, Total Rewards, and regional stakeholders to ensure consistent application of compensation programs and practices. Support the development of compensation communications, training materials, and manager enablement resources. Drive continuous improvement of compensation processes, tools, reporting, and analytics capabilities to enhance efficiency and user experience. Contribute to compensation-related projects and strategic initiatives that strengthen the organization's overall rewards framework.
Qualifications
Education: B achelor's degree required in Human Resources, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree or MBA preferred. Experience and Skills: Required: Typically 6-8 years of progressive experience in compensation, total rewards, human resources, finance, or a related field. Strong experience supporting regional or global compensation programs in a complex, matrixed organization. Demonstrated expertise in market pricing, job
