As a Staff Nurse within our Pre Assessment Service at The Christie Private Care, you'll play a vital role in helping patients feel informed, prepared and supported every step of the way. What you'll do
Complete comprehensive pre assessment appointments and clinical evaluations for patients undergoing treatment and surgery. Perform clinical duties including phlebotomy, ECGs, observations and wound care reviews. Undertake telephone triage assessments and determine when face-to-face review is required. Liaise with consultants, surgeons and multidisciplinary teams to escalate concerns and coordinate safe patient pathways. Support service improvement initiatives, audits and patient feedback activities while maintaining exceptional standards of patient centred care.
What you'll bring
Current NMC Registration as a Registered Nurse. Previous surgical nursing experience. Experience of pre assessment or preoperative care is desirable. Competency in ECG recording and phlebotomy. Excellent communication, organisational and relationship-building skills. Why HCA UK?
