As the Network Infrastructure Lead , you will play a key role in the AIR6500 program, leading the detailed designs and implementation of the network architecture that underpins this complex capability. Working closely with Network Architects, engineering teams and key stakeholders, you’ll help translate architectural direction into practical, secure and effective network solutions. Key Responsibilities Lead detailed designs of the Network Architecture, working with Network Architects to implement the network configuration across the Mission and Support Systems. Work closely with the Network Architect to support the evolution of the AIR6500 network and support the implementation of network solutions across AIR6500 and associated support environments. Collaborate with the Network Architect, Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and System Architects to define network requirements and develop detailed design solutions. Drive security-by-design principles throughout the network solution. Provide technical leadership through peer reviews and technical assessments, working with the Network Architect to deliver effective documentation. Contribute to the development and delivery of technical reviews, including network architecture diagrams, physical and logical configurations, requirements and interface definitions. Engage with AIR6500 IPTs and Specialty Engineering teams to ensure a common understanding of network architecture.
