Job Overview
Lead and orchestrate supply chain management across a cluster of cable or connector factories. Serve as the single point of accountability and the primary bridge between factory teams and Global Supply Chain Management. Job Requirements
1. Sales & Operations Execution (S&OE)
Own consolidated schedules, supply commitments, and execution priorities across the factory cluster, providing Global SCM with timely, accurate, and actionable responses. Drive on-time delivery and net-sales realization by translating customer and business priorities into executable factory plans. Develop decision-ready scenarios and recommendations for business leaders. Identify and resolve plan variances, risks, and opportunities at cluster level. Align factories and cross-functional stakeholders on decisions, trade-offs, and commitments, and drive disciplined follow-through.
2. Capacity Planning, Balancing & Prioritization
Lead capacity planning and load balancing across the factory cluster, including bottleneck visibility and constraint management. Drive dynamic scenario planning based on constrained capacity, customer priorities, revenue impact, and operational feasibility. Establish clear build priorities and allocation decisions, ensuring transparent communication to Global SCM and business stakeholders. Play a key role in new-product introduction planning, production ramp-up, and factory schedule commitments. Coordinate cross-factory actions to improve responsiveness, resilience, and utilization of available capacity.
3. Inventory & Material Performance
Lead cluster-level inventory governance, including deep dives on shortages, excess and obsolete inventory, and distribution-center and factory inventory days on hand. Drive alignment between production schedules, material plans, procurement actions, and inventory targets. Ensure shortage risks are identified early, escalated with clear business impact, and managed through structured recovery plans. Balance service, cost, cash, and growth when recommending inventory and supply decisions.
4. Factory SCM Transformation & Execution Excellence
Lead and collaborate on factory SCM transformation across organization design, master production scheduling, material planning, buying, and digital tool deployment. Assess process, system, organizational, and capacity capabilities across the factory cluster.
