Job Description
The Data Center Technical Assistance Center (TAC) Lead is responsible for leading the 24/7 monitoring and operational support of mission-critical data center facilities. This role oversees the TAC team, manages incidents and customer communications, coordinates with site operations and vendors, and ensures critical infrastructure remains available, reliable, and compliant with operational standards. Managing the daily governance of KPI’s utilizing various reports, such as metrics data and observations. Collect and analyze data to measure gaps, performances, and use of data for efficiency purposes. Building and maintaining excellent communication and relationships with several cross-functional teams. Able to prioritize, execute, or provide clarification or explanation of changes, goals and other duties.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and supervise the Technical Assistance Center (TAC) team during assigned shifts. Monitor critical infrastructure systems including electrical, mechanical, cooling, fire protection, security, BMS, ECMS, and EPMS. Manage operational incidents from detection through resolution, including escalation, coordination, and reporting. Serve as the primary operational contact for customers during incidents, maintenance activities, and service updates. Coordinate with Site Operations, Engineering, Security, IT, contractors, and vendors to ensure timely issue resolution. Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Emergency Operating Procedures (EOP), and Method of Procedures (MOP). Maintain accurate shift logs, incident reports, and operational documentation. Support planned maintenance, change management, and emergency response activities. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and service reliability. Coach, mentor, and develop TAC Specialists while promoting a culture of safety, teamwork, and operational excellence.
