About this role
We are looking for a Medical Technologist at Medpace Reference Laboratories for our haematology department . Due to our recent growth, we are in need of qualified and focused driven individuals, who play a pivotal role in research-based drug development within the pharmaceutical industry. You would have the unique opportunity to work on the laboratory side of the fast-paced medical world by conducting tests on blood, urine. Responsibilities
Perform low, moderate, and high-complexity testing following applicable Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Train on different sets of automated instrumentation to learn maintenance and troubleshooting skills Perform necessary quality control procedures, properly evaluate and interpret quality control data, and implement and document corrective action as needed. Perform documentation, and routine lab system operations. Problem solve and work alongside our team of Medical Laboratory Scientists and PhD Scientists to develop and validate new tests and methods for routine and biomarker testing in our expanding laboratory Keep track of inventory Strictly adhere to safety procedures Working in rotation schedule: Monday - Friday and Tuesday – Saturday.
Qualifications
Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Laboratory Technology, option Medical Laboratory Technology and Certification by the National-level professional evaluation organization; Basic knowledge of drug therapy techniques and medical terminology; Experienced working with haematology and chemistry; Excellent written and verbal communication skills and good command of both written and spoken of English; Able to work in a team environment with effective interpersonal skills and able to work independently; Professional demeanor and strong work ethic; Sense of responsibility and being studious; Working accurate, solution-minded and handle stress with grace; Previous experience in a haematology area is a plus; and Working in rotation schedule: Monday - Friday and Tuesday – Saturday.
