Job Description
As a Senior Manager, Rider Supply Chain within our functional team, you will own and drive the end-to-end rider gear supply chain across 17 global markets within our three brands (foodora, foodpanda, and yemeksepeti). You will lead regional demand forecasting, strategic sourcing, inventory optimization, and logistics operations for rider gear and paper bags.
Responsibilities
Demand Forecasting & Planning: Own regional gear forecasting and production, and provide high-accuracy inputs to procurement and local teams to ensure optimal gear availability Inventory & Order Management: Manage inventory levels across multiple storage locations, driving replenishment strategies that minimize out-of-stock risk while optimizing holding costs Logistics Operations: Own regional logistics operations for equipment storage, fulfillment, and cross-border distribution across regional hubs Supplier & 3PL Partnership: Manage relationships with 3PL warehouse partners, freight forwarders, and equipment suppliers. Support on supplier tenders, evaluate vendor performance, and enforce strict quality standards Automation & Process Optimization: Identify and lead supply chain automation projects (e.g., n8n workflows) to streamline order dispatches, reduce manual workloads, and accelerate rider onboarding/activation time Standardization & Product Innovation: Collaborate with suppliers and local teams to produce and field-test custom equipment to consolidate brand assortments, enhance gear durability, and drive cost savings Brand awareness: Contribute to increasing our brand positioning through driving rider branding initiatives Compliance & Financial Reporting: Coordinate with finance, legal, and tax teams to report rider gear flows, ensure import/export compliance, and manage local regulations Qualifications Minimum 5+ years of experience in supply chain management, procurement, or logistics operations Hands-on experience with supply chain planning, ERP systems (SAP, Ariba), Shopify, and workflow automation tools (e.g., n8n) Proven track record of leading cross-functional, multi-market initiatives across Procurement, Operations, Finance, Legal, and Regional teams Demonstrated success in automating manual workflows to drive operational scalability and generate cost efficiencies Strong background in supplier management, transport/warehouse/supplier tenders, and international customs and logistics coordination Highly adaptable with strong problem-solving abilities, detail-oriented execution under pressure, and strong intercultural communication skills Professional working proficiency in English; additional regional languages are a plus By clicking the link above or any third-party link within this posting, you are leaving this site and going to a third-party website where the third-party website's terms and privacy policy apply I'm interested I'm interested Privacy Notice I'm interested Refer a friend share this job Share to WeChat × Copy the link and open WeChat to share.
