Optum is seeking Quality Analyst to join our growing team. At Optum, we are transforming healthcare nationally while providing physician-led care locally. Work with the largest care delivery organization in the world and start doing your life's best work. Schedule : Monday through Thursday, 7:45 AM- 5:00 PM or until last patient leaves. Friday 7:45 am to 1:00 pm or until last patient leaves. May be asked to float to other locations for coverage, as needed. High School Diploma/GED Active medical assistant certification (CMA, CCMA, NCMA, or RMA) or nursing assistant certification (CNA) 1+ years in a medical office, experience with EMR, medical terminology, and previous experience in the medical field 1 + years of computer proficiency to include understanding excel spreadsheets Preferred Qualifications: Experience with electronic medical records (ECW) 1+ year working of clinical experience 1+ year customer service experience Knowledge of insurance carriers and managed care plans Knowledge of medical terminology Soft Skills: Ability to work independently and as a team, and maintain good judgment and accountability Demonstrated ability to work well with health care providers Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks to meet all deadlines Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to speak clearly and concisely, conveying information in a manner that others can understand, as well as ability to understand and interpret information from others *All Telecommuters will be
