Eaton’s AER MSD Mission System Division is currently seeking a Business Development Manager -Air to Air Refueling Aftermarket - Part time. This is a remote position. Working hours: 18 hours per week The expected annual salary range for this role is $113000 - $165000 a year. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. What you’ll do: The Business Development Manager for Aftermarket will develop capability and implement product strategies that are aligned to market and customer needs. Key Responsibilities: • Support and develop existing customers for aftermarket portfolio. • Act as the product and program manager to develop capabilities for a growing aftermarket business. • The primary focus will be on the Air-To-Air Refueling and Environmental Product portfolios. The individual will also support Actuation products as required in addition to working with the wider Eaton Aerospace aftermarket team. • Drive portfolios through all phases of its lifecycle including ideation in line with market needs; development of business cases for new products/services; phase-appropriate pricing; marketing strategies; support of product in the field; sun-setting / sale of IP; etc. • Implement strategies and capture efforts including the establishment of aftermarket capabilities to align with customer demand • Provide technical support to customers and to internal stakeholders • Develop annual and out-year forecasts and work to achieve those forecasts • Create and maintain opportunities in CRM tool • Drive the relevant roadmaps and liaise with Engineering to agree the investment plan and allocation of resources. • Understand market dynamics and competitive environment to ensure product / service delivery strategies are positioned to maximize sales, profit and cash. • Utilize all necessary strategies (e.g. licenses, strategic partnerships, acquisitions) to ensure growth in both core and adjacent market space. • Coordinate with engineering during the design phase of programs to create and ensure the aftermarket strategy aligns with business objectives Qualifications: Basic Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree from accredited institution is required • Minimum 10 years of progressive professional experience in aerospace aftermarket and/or aerospace business development experience • Knowledge and experience of working with Government customers, repair stations • Eaton will not consider applicants for employment, immigration sponsorship or support for this position.
