Assistant Facilities Manager – JLL What this job involves: Join our facilities management team as an Assistant Facilities Manager in Seattle, where you'll play a critical role in delivering exceptional property operations and maintenance services. In this dynamic position, you'll be responsible for managing customer/client services, financial oversight, facility maintenance, procurement, and supplier relationships while building strong partnerships with key client representatives. Your work will ensure seamless day-to-day operations while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence. What your day-to-day will look like: Manage and oversee daily facility operations including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire/life safety systems, landscaping, and building management systems (BMS) Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring satisfaction with facility management services while supporting programs to increase customer engagement Coordinate with site teams and contractors to deliver excellent customer service, schedule maintenance, inspect repairs, and manage vendor partnerships Support work order management using AI-powered CMMS systems to streamline processes, improve response times, and identify operational patterns Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) monthly, implementing corrective actions to meet or exceed performance standards Create and edit monthly reports on work orders, budgets, initiatives, and projects using data analytics and visualization tools to provide actionable insights Collaborate with the IFM Lead on annual operating budget development, monthly variance reporting, and ensuring invoice accuracy and timely vendor payments Required Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent 2+ years of proven experience managing commercial facilities as a third-party provider, corporate representative, or consultant 1+ years of people management or supervisory experience in the facilities management industry Experience using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) Strong knowledge of financial and accounting principles as they apply to commercial property management Excellent customer service, computer, managerial, verbal and written communication skills Basic knowledge of building systems including mechanical and electrical systems Preferred Qualifications: Demonstrated ability to learn and adopt new technologies, including AI-powered facility management tools Proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional team environments and build collaborative relationships across departments Experience with AI applications for energy optimization, space utilization analytics, and predictive maintenance Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with associates, clients, and vendors Ability to multi-task, organize responsibilities effectively, and manage multiple priorities simultaneously Experience supporting facility soft services such as meeting preparation, conference room reservations, food services, parking, vending, and badging Knowledge of hazard control, team safety practices, and compliance with local codes and JLL operational standards Location:
