Position

Responsibilities: Provide sustaining process engineering support for production of solar cell wafers and solar cell assemblies Maintain process control using Statistical Process Control (SPC) tools, troubleshoot process anomalies, understand operation of process equipment, and provide timely response to manufacturing issues and needs Interact closely with teams within the larger Operations group to achieve organizational goals Identify and execute continuous improvement and breakthrough new product or process ideas to reduce process cycle time, reduce product cost, and improve product performance Support Research and Development (R&D) activities associated with advancing solar cell technologies and reducing the cost of the products Embrace and foster a working culture where safety is a top priority Anticipate and drive innovative solutions to create value Adopt an entrepreneurial mindset and take smart risks Maintain a productive sense of urgency This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. ​ Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.  Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement 2+ years of experience working with semiconductor processing Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Experience in the semiconductor (III-V, II-VI, or Si) industry Experience in semiconductor processing, solar cell devices, material characterization and analytical techniques Experience with photolithography, thin film (metal and dielectric materials) deposition techniques, wet and dry etch processes, and high temperature annealing processes Experience with gated approach to process and product development and Aerospace industry material and qualification requirements Experience in programming with VBA, LabView, C, C+, C++, SQL Knowledge of statistical analysis, statistical process control, and lean principles Conflict of Interest: Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company's Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.
