Raytheon Field Engineering is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Logistics and Production Control Specialist to support our operations as a government contractor. This role is responsible for coordinating the movement of materials and products through the production cycle, overseeing shipping and receiving functions, and ensuring compliance with federal regulations and contractual requirements. The ideal candidate will possess a strong knowledge of logistics, inventory management, technical aptitude, and government supply chain standards.
What You Will Do
Data Transmission for configuration, performance, and hardware status. Preparation of Acceptance Packages for customer submittal. Impact analysis for changes in contract requirements documentation. Creation/Review of Quality History Packages and technical data packages. Configuration Management Support for factory activities. Coordinate and prepare all incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with government and company regulations.
Qualifications
You Must Have Typically requires a Bachelor’s in science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience. The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. Experience with production flow and recommending efficiency. Experience with shipping regulations, logistics documentation, and inventory systems.
Qualifications
We Prefer Experience in a manufacturing/production environment. Ability to manage projects; schedules, budgets, and priorities. Current Active Security Clearance. Prior work experience working on or in a military/government related position. Experience reading and understanding engineer drawings. Experience with technical data packages.
