The CODE Program offers meaningful, real-world work combined with structured professional development, mentorship, and exposure to a broad range of technologies across the enterprise. Upon successful completion of the program, participants are eligible for promotion and continued employment, subject to business needs and performance expectations. In this role, you will: Develop, test, enhance, and support Java-based applications, services, APIs, and data-driven solutions that enable CIB Operations business processes, address business needs, and improve operational efficiency. Partner with product owners, business partners, technology leads, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements, analyze problems, and help design and deliver technology solutions. Work across multiple technologies, tools, and platforms while continuously learning new technical skills and expanding your engineering knowledge. Participate in Agile and Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily standups, retrospectives, and iterative feature delivery. Support application modernization, automation, cloud adoption, and technology transformation initiatives designed to improve scalability, reliability, and maintainability. Contribute to software build, testing, deployment, and release activities utilizing modern engineering practices, automation tools, and CI/CD pipelines. Assist in troubleshooting, debugging, root cause analysis, and production support activities to help maintain application stability and performance. Create, maintain, and support reports, dashboards, data integrations, and other solutions that provide insights into business and operational processes. Collaborate effectively with team members, business partners, and stakeholders located across multiple locations and time zones to deliver technology solutions and project objectives. Apply analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to evaluate requirements, identify solutions, and resolve technical challenges. Utilize AI-assisted development tools, where appropriate and approved, to support coding, testing, documentation, and overall engineering productivity. Communicate technical concepts, project updates, risks, and solutions clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. Take ownership of assigned features, user stories, and development tasks while contributing to team goals and delivery
