Job Title Business Analyst What does a successful Business Analyst do at Fiserv? A Business Analyst is a subject matter expert that has a deep understanding of the needs and requirements of the Premier Banking Core client base with a passion to deliver solutions. You would be responsible for helping guide the development team on new features and defects making sure that we have met our clients’ expectations.
What you will do
Partner with Client Services to understand client cases, trends and how we can improve our software to better serve our clients. Research help tickets and recreate defects for the development team to help reduce cycle time. Understand, manage, and track Service Level Agreements that we have set on incoming help tickets. Develop and maintain a prioritized backlog of your recreated defects. Drive stakeholder communication when needed for client facing issues related new releases. Review and provide feedback on release documentation. Partner with Product Management to understand the feature requirements, product vision, product strategy, related roadmap, and help to set key business objectives for the product. Participate in requirement refinement sessions with Internal/External resources and IT teams to convey the Business need and to identify gaps, impacts and requirements for each impacted area. Analyze and interpret requirements and impacts using information provided in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Participate in the creation of user stories with clear and concise acceptance criteria. Provide SME guidance, information, and troubleshooting for the products and surrounding teams. Reviews and accepts completed user stories from the Agile Team. What you will need to have: 6+ years of Premier core banking related experience. Proficient in various tools such as JIRA, Tableau, Confluence, Clarity and MS Office tools. Strong investigative, analytical, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Experience with technology and ability to facilitate communication between business, customers, and technology teams. Demonstrated experience and deep understanding of user experience best practices. Demonstrated experience with facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency. What would be great to have: In-depth knowledge of application development technologies, tools, and methodologies that supports complex or strategically important processes, products and projects while working on complex systems and project issues. How you will work: This role is on-site Monday through Friday in Lincoln, NE. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experiences help you with your overall onboarding experience and leads to stronger productivity.
