About this role
As a Senior Project Manager reporting to the Senior Director of Delivery Management, you'll play a central role in delivering Nasdaq's global system implementations - driving projects from initiation through to successful close. You'll work at the intersection of technology, finance, and client experience, managing cross-functional teams and complex stakeholder relationships in a fast-paced, high-impact environment. Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end project delivery, including scope definition, milestone planning, resource management, and budget oversight. Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues, escalating where needed to ensure timely resolution. Chair governance meetings and maintain accurate project documentation, including plans, risk logs, status reports, and post-implementation reviews. Build and sustain strong stakeholder relationships through clear, consistent communication and proactive engagement. Support and develop project team members in line with Nasdaq's leadership principles.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Technology, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. 8+ years of project management experience in capital markets or financial services. Proficiency in both PMI and Agile methodologies. Demonstrated ability to assess and mitigate project risks, dependencies, and delivery challenges. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with experience influencing stakeholders at all levels.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with project tools such as MS Project, SharePoint, and JIRA/Confluence. Familiarity with Nasdaq software platforms or capital markets technology environments. Willingness and ability to travel as business needs require. This position is based in Paris and offers a hybrid work environment with at least 3 days per week in office.
