WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT Collect and report OPPE and FPPE, and assist with peer review, as required. Coordinate and perform initial application and reappointment credentialing and privileging activities. Coordinate the review and revision of the Medical Staff Bylaws, Rules, and Regulations, to ensure compliance with all regulatory agencies to reflect current practice and to provide protection from risk when possible, as required. Develop and manage policies, bylaws, credentialing criteria, and clinical privileging form. Manage current and accurate Medical Staff files that meet accreditation standards and legal requirements through continuous monitoring of Medical Staff leaves of absence, licensure, insurance, and CME data. Oversee and monitor preparation for HFAP/ISDH/ CMS Surveys.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree Healthcare Field - Preferred 5 years In related field - Required Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) - National Association Medical Staff Services (NAMSS) - Preferred Certified Professional Medical Services Management (CPMSM) - National Association Medical Staff Services (NAMSS) - Preferred TRAVEL IS REQUIRED: Up to 20% EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER It is the policy of Franciscan Alliance to provide equal employment to its employees and qualified applicants for employment as otherwise required by an applicable local, state or Federal law.
