About this role
Schedule : Tuesday-Saturday 11:00AM- 7:00PM Transportation Coordinator General Summary Coordinates outbound shipments to support transportation operations. Ensures timely, accurate communication and coordination across stores, distribution centers, carriers, and internal teams to maintain service standards and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate outbound and backhaul freight assignments to maximize truck utilization and reduce costs. Monitor carrier performance and ensure compliance with delivery protocols. Perform accurate data entry across transportation systems and ensure accuracy of carrier invoicing within those systems. Conduct tracking and tracing of deliveries and equipment. Support claims processes and ensure proper documentation for credits. Analyze operational trends and implement process improvements. Follow safety procedures and promote a clean, organized work environment. Adhere to company policies and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
Experience
3–5 years of customer service experience preferred. Familiarity with DOT regulations and driver hours of service is a plus.
Skills
Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) Physical & Working Conditions Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation, including lifting, walking, standing, climbing, stooping, and kneeling. Primarily office-based in a climate-controlled environment, with occasional exposure to warehouse conditions and regulated materials. Availability Must be willing to work shift hours, overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
