The Classified Infrastructure Services department provides expertise to programs in Networking, High Performance Computing, and Storage & Data Protection. The Senior Network Architect will serve as a senior technical leader within the Network Architecture team, responsible for enterprise network architecture, design governance, and standards development across classified environments. This role defines and maintains network architecture principles, ensures alignment with TOGAF and DoDAF frameworks, and guides programs through consistent, scalable, and secure network designs. As a Subject Matter Expert in networking, you will provide advanced architectural guidance and technical leadership to operational and engineering teams, support complex problem resolution, research emerging technologies, and collaborate across organizations to shape the future of classified network solutions. This position will be an onsite role in our Tewksbury, MA location, travel to other US Domestic sites might be required on an infrequent bases.
What you will Do
Lead the design and evolution of enterprise network architectures supporting classified programs. Define, document, and maintain network architecture principles, standards, and reference architectures. Apply formal architecture frameworks such as TOGAF and DoDAF to guide solution development and ensure traceability from mission needs to implementation. Establish and enforce architecture governance, ensuring compliance with standards, security requirements, and best practices. Develop and maintain architecture artifacts including system views, operational views, and technical standards documentation. Serve as a technical authority for network-related design decisions. Provide Tier 3/4 escalation support to operational network teams, resolving complex issues that require deep technical expertise and architectural-level analysis. Partner with engineering, cybersecurity, systems, and program teams to translate architectural intent into implementable designs. Participate in and lead architecture reviews, design forums, and technical working groups. Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend adoption where appropriate. Provide mentoring and technical leadership to engineers and junior architects. Support proposal efforts and new program captures with
