We are seeking a motivated Program Control analyst (P3) to support the financial and operational performance of Indirect Fire Protection Capability (IFPC INC 2) programs. This position will be partnered with Program Management, Scheduling, Contracts, and Control Account Managers (CAMs) to provide accurate financial analysis, forecasting, and Earned Value Management (EVM) support. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate program financial data, identifying performance trends, and providing actionable information to support program execution and business decision.
What You Will Do
Support EAC development, forecasting, budgeting, and monthly financial reporting, including analysis of actual costs, ETC, staffing, material and other key cost drivers. Perform Earned Value Management (EVM) analysis, including CPI, SPI, cost and schedule variances, and development of variance explanations and corrective actions. Partner with Program Managers, CAMs, and scheduling to monitor program performance and ensure alignment between cost, schedule, and technical execution. Support baseline development and maintenance, budget change, and other program control activities. Analyze financial and EVM data to identify trends, risks and opportunities and communicate potential impacts to program leadership. Ensure financial and program performance data is accurate, timely, and compliant with established processes and contractual requirements. Support program reviews, EAC reviews, and other internal and customer financial reporting requirements. Prepare and support timely, accurate external IPMDAR reporting, ensuring alignment of cost, schedule, EVM and program performance data with contractual and customer reporting requirements.
Qualifications
You Must Have Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field & a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; OR an Advanced degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience Experience with forecasting, budgeting, and/or variance analysis Experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements Qualifications We Prefer Experience with Earned Value Management, EAC development Experience supporting complex government or defense programs and working across multiple functions and organizations.
