About this role
About Polymarket Polymarket is the world's largest prediction market platform. We enable individuals to express views on real-world events by trading on outcomes across politics, economics, sports, culture, and current affairs. Built as a peer-to-peer marketplace with no centralized "house," Polymarket aggregates diverse opinions into transparent, market-based probabilities that reflect collective expectations about the future. We're growing fast — both in terms of volume ($21B traded in 2025) and adoption as an alternative news source. Our ambition is to become a ubiquitous beacon of truth in global media and we need your help adding fuel to the fire.
About the Role
Sports is one of the biggest opportunities in front of Polymarket right now. The Growth team is small, moves fast, and operates with direct accountability to outcomes. This role sits at the center of that, working alongside the Senior GM to own the end-to-end go-to-market motion for NFL and CFB — our highest-priority verticals this year. The mandate is execution: owning the plan, running the operating cadence, tracking what's working, and making clear calls on where to invest and where to stop. This is not a role where you manage up and wait for direction. The gap right now is not ideas — it is operational rigor and speed. NFL season does not wait. We need someone who can get up to speed in weeks, build the reporting and coordination infrastructure that does not yet exist, and immediately make the team faster and sharper.
What You'll Do
Own the NFL and CFB GTM plan end-to-end, updating it weekly across all active workstreams and keeping every function aligned on priorities and deadlines Run cross-functional syncs across marketing, product, partnerships, and operations, surfacing blockers early and driving decisions before they become delays Track KPIs and spend on a daily basis, flagging variances against plan and bringing specific recommendations to the Senior GM on where to adjust Build and maintain P&L visibility for NFL and CFB GTM, including spend pacing, channel-level performance, and return on investment by initiative Translate performance data into clear invest, cut, or pivot recommendations — with the analysis to back them up and the judgment to know when to move fast Maintain the growth experimentation backlog, document tested hypotheses, and ensure learnings are captured in a way the team can actually use Identify the highest-priority gaps in execution week over week and take direct ownership of closing them, whether that means doing the work yourself or coordinating others to move faster What We're Looking For 6+ years of experience running complex, multi-function GTM initiatives — not just executing within a single channel or team Demonstrated P&L ownership with real accountability for spend decisions and performance outcomes, not just reporting on numbers someone else managed Strong analytical skills with hands-on comfort in SQL or an equivalent data tool — you pull your own data and build your own analysis Proven ability to operate with speed and autonomy in high-ambiguity environments where the structure does not exist yet and you have to build it Experience serving as the operational backbone of a cross-functional initiative, where your coordination directly unblocked execution and kept teams moving Track record of taking at least two acquisition or retention channels from early experiment to a documented, repeatable program with measurable user or revenue impact (Plus) Experience in sports, fantasy sports, or sports betting, with real familiarity with how these audiences think and behave (Plus) Background in crypto, fintech, or prediction markets (Plus) Built a growth experimentation system from scratch, including documentation, prioritization frameworks, and hypothesis tracking Benefits Competitive salary & equity Unlimited PTO Full Health, Vision, & Dental coverage 401k match Hardware setup: new MacBook Pro, big display, &
