AMD is seeking a highly motivated Member of Technical Staff (MTS), Post-Silicon Electrical Validation Engineer to join our Server Compute and Enterprise AI organization. In this role, you will be responsible for validating and characterizing high-speed I/O technologies on next-generation datacenter and AI platforms. You will work closely with cross-functional engineering teams to develop validation methodologies, execute comprehensive test plans, investigate complex system issues, and enable manufacturing test solutions that ensure product quality and reliability at scale.   The position offers broad exposure across silicon, platform, firmware, software, and manufacturing ecosystems, providing opportunities to influence products from early bring-up through production deployment.   THE PERSON:   The ideal candidate is passionate about complex technical challenges, enjoys hands-on lab debugging, and has strong fundamentals in high-speed electrical interfaces and system validation. Post-Silicon Validation & Characterization Develop and execute validation strategies for high-speed interfaces and system interconnect technologies. Define test plans, validation coverage, and characterization methodologies to ensure product functionality, performance, and reliability. Perform electrical characterization, margin analysis, stress testing, interoperability validation, and feature verification. Evaluate system behavior across various operating conditions and workloads to identify performance and robustness gaps. Support silicon bring-up, platform enablement, and new technology introduction activities.   System Debug & Root Cause Analysis Lead investigations of complex system-level issues spanning hardware, firmware, software, and platform interactions. Utilize structured debug methodologies to identify root causes and drive resolution of product issues. Collaborate with design, architecture, firmware, platform, and quality teams to implement corrective actions and long-term improvements. Support product readiness assessments by identifying technical risks and driving mitigation plans.   Manufacturing Test & Product Quality Enablement Partner with product engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to develop scalable production screening and validation methodologies. Translate engineering validation techniques into manufacturable test solutions that balance product quality, test coverage, and throughput requirements. Support qualification, correlation, and deployment of production test content across multiple manufacturing environments. Investigate manufacturing and product-quality issues, driving corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.   Automation & Methodology Development Develop test automation, data analysis frameworks, and regression solutions to improve validation efficiency and coverage. Drive improvements in validation methodologies, debug workflows, and characterization techniques. Leverage data analytics to identify trends, improve
