Main responsibilities: Albertsons Companies has an opening for an Accountant II supporting the Pharmacy department. Duties include ensuring accuracy and efficiency of processing, and monitoring Pharmacy reconciliations. The position will be based in Phoenix, AZ.
Analyze standard and customized reports for reasonableness and accuracy and make recommendations for action. Monitor Pharmacy Reconciliations by 3rd Party operations to ensure Business Rules are followed. Book accruals and true ups of multiple high-level processes and review for accuracy Assist Inmar with escalated collection efforts and unapplied cash issues for problem carriers. Support staff on issues requiring assistance as well as encouraging other team-members and be a positive role model. Complete balancing of daily sales, GL feeds and bank files as well as account reconciliations. Process Journal Entries and perform AP processes as required. Provide support to Inmar as well as Albertsons Internal Customers (RX Operations and Upper Management of NSC) in issues or questions. Support internal and external audit requests. Coordinate high level projects as required.
We are looking for candidates who possess the following:
Strong knowledge of Pharmacy Reconciliation Process and Accounts Receivable Working knowledge of Pharmacy Four-year college degree in accounting Three or more years’ accounting experience in a large organization Advanced level PC skills including Microsoft Excel and MS Office Ability to organize and prioritize tasks Strong analytical skills and attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy Work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Self-motivated, and ability to make logical, rational decisions independently Ability to complete work with a minimum of supervision under rigid time constraints Good oral, written, mathematical and analytical skills Ability to participate in team building and problem-solving sessions Ability to learn new technologies and business requirements Strong team building skills and ability to motivate team members
