We support and partner with the entire retail ecosystem, from large retailers to small local shops, to help them build their brand, be discovered and foster lasting customer relationships, and build sustainable businesses to thrive in today’s omnichannel world. Define and execute the strategic roadmap for AI Mode. Partner with cross-functional product leaders to unlock high-growth opportunities and deliver on the company’s highest-priority e-commerce ambitions. Maintain a pulse on global retail trends, evolving consumer behaviors, and breakthrough technologies to keep our product suite ahead of the curve. Collaborate seamlessly across Google teams—including Product, Engineering, Marketing, Legal, and Finance—to ensure tight integration and execution against core business objectives. Advocate innovation by motivating engineering teams to build and deploy complex software solutions, with a strong focus on modernizing core architecture using advanced ML and LLMs.
Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. 3 years of experience in product management or related technical role, taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, end-to-end, 0 to 1, etc). Experience building and deploying consumer-facing products focused on customer experience. Experience building and designing AI-powered products or features. Preferred qualifications: Master's degree in a technology or business related field. 2 years of experience in a business function or role (e.g., marketing, business operations, consulting). 2 years of experience in a role preparing and delivering technical presentations to senior leadership. 2 years of experience working cross-functionally with engineering, UX/UI, sales finance, and other stakeholders. 1 year of experience in software development or engineering.
