This outside sales role is designed for a sales professional who thrives on creating new opportunities, influencing technology decisions, and developing long-term strategic growth within targeted end-user accounts. You will work across Corporate, Healthcare, Retail, Transportation, and Large/Public Venue markets, engaging decision makers, influencers, and stakeholders while collaborating with resellers, integrators, distributors, and internal teams to position Sony solutions.
Your Mission
Create demand directly with enterprise customers and develop a strong pipeline of new opportunities. Build and execute account penetration plans for targeted end users and priority vertical markets. Engage executive-level decision makers and become a trusted advisor on visual technology strategy. Uncover projects early, influence specifications, and expand Sony portfolio adoption. Coordinate with reseller, integration, and distribution partners so opportunities are fulfilled through the channel. Deliver sustainable account growth while achieving assigned sales objectives and supporting customer satisfaction. The Portfolio You Will Represent Represent a broad professional visual solutions portfolio, including: BRAVIA Professional Displays Business Projectors Crystal LED What You Will Do Develop pipeline, maintain accurate forecasts, and analyze customer and market opportunities. Conduct compelling executive presentations and coordinate product demonstrations. Differentiate Sony Professional Display Solutions from competitive offerings. Support trade shows and industry events that advance customer engagement and opportunity creation. Collaborate with marketing, engineering, customer service, and sales teams to improve execution. Manage territory and account activity effectively while traveling up to 50% based on customer and project needs.
Minimum Requirements
3+ years of successful consultative B2B or end-user sales experience. A demonstrated hunter mentality and a proven ability to develop new business and expand existing accounts. A consistent record of achieving or exceeding assigned sales objectives. Experience creating and executing strategic account plans within targeted customers or vertical markets. Ability to develop relationships with business, technical, and executive-level decision makers. Strong persuasion, negotiation, presentation, written communication, and verbal communication skills. Strong organization, business planning, forecasting, and time management skills. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Preferred Skills
Experience selling professional AV, display, collaboration, digital signage, workplace technology, unified communications, IT infrastructure, SaaS, or related solutions. Working knowledge of Salesforce CRM and sales analytics tools. Experience or relationships within enterprise, corporate, healthcare, QSR, stadium, or large-venue accounts. Experience supporting global or multinational accounts. A sustained record of exceeding company expectations and sales targets. The anticipated base pay
