DG BOSS: Plumber (FN)

Title: DG BOSS: Plumber (FN) · Responsible for the operation, maintenance, and repair of IAW the Performance Work Statement (PWS) to support warm base operations and exercises. Performs maintenance and repair works under the direct supervision of a Journeyman Plumber or higher-level craftsman. Observe and follows all safety rules and procedures, including wearing required personal protective equipment. Performs other work-related duties and activities as directed.

Must have an excellent understanding of all safety directives and policies regarding the operation of equipment Knowledge of plumbing repairs, maintenance, and installation techniques Knowledge of plumbing codes Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, schematics, and written reference material Ability to perform mathematical calculations Ability to diagnose and resolve problems Ability to use hand and power tools. Must be able to perform physical activities such as, but not limited to, bending, standing, climbing, or walking. Must speak, read, and understand the English Language. Must pass overseas medical screening and be in good health. Must have a valid Professional Driver’s License with at least Restriction Code 2. Must have basic knowledge of Maximo and Tablet.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS: SPECIAL CERTIFICATIONS OR TRAINING: Plumbing certification/s is required.

Must have at least High School diploma, Vocational or Technical course Graduate is required. EXPERIENCE: A minimum of three years of experience in the operations, maintenance, and repair of plumbing.
