Overview We are seeking a Senior Analytics Data Engineer to join our Homes.com team to design and scale end-to-end data infrastructure, transforming raw data into high-quality datasets that power both internal insights and customer-facing product experiences. This role partners cross-functionally to define data strategy, build reliable pipelines, and deliver scalable BI solutions that enable self-service analytics and data-driven decision-making. The position also supports advanced data initiatives, including productionizing machine learning models and enhancing user experience through data-driven insights. CoStar is investing heavily in artificial intelligence to accelerate software delivery, improve platform observability, automate research and business workflows, enhance product experiences through intelligent agents and skills, and improve data quality across enterprise systems. Successful candidates will demonstrate a willingness to learn, adopt, and apply AI technologies responsibly to solve complex business and engineering challenges. This position is located in Arlington, VA and is in office Monday through Thursday and work from home on Friday.

Own end-to-end design and deployment of automated data infrastructure – from defining initial data requirements and owning table/schema design to creating reliable, production data pipelines that power both internal analytics and customer-facing product experiences. Work with product and software engineering teams to define tracking strategy and data requirements; design and build automated scripts using SQL or python to transform raw source data into datasets for use in front-end business products and for analysts across the company. Develop and implement data quality and pipeline monitoring procedures to ensure accuracy and completeness of data, including validation rules, data audits, and resolution of data discrepancies.
