As a Regional Manager, Financial Planning , you will provide team and sales leadership, business development, referrals and ongoing mentoring to achieve targets and support a dynamic culture of results. In addition, you will: Oversee and lead a large and highly diverse reporting function for an area of significant risk, complexity or scope, while growing talent, developing skills and capabilities to achieve team and career goals Lead a high-performing team of Wealth Advice Specialists and Financial Planners who are focused on acquiring and retaining committed customer relationships and earned business for the mass affluent segment Provide mentorship, direction and motivation on sound business practices and compliance requirements in challenging yet collaborative environment to deliver strong results Provide strategic partner relationship to leadership team on the management of the portfolio and financials, with deep industry and enterprise knowledge Participate in cross-functional / enterprise initiatives as a subject matter expert to identify and enact strategic operational efficiencies and opportunities Develop long-term plans for own area and influence beyond area managed Actively manage relationships, processes and regulatory requirements within and across business divisions Ensure all customer-facing activities support the client experience and improve the TD brand Maintain a culture of risk management and control, supported by effective processes in alignment with risk appetite Job Requirements University degree with over five (5) or more years' management experience at a senior level plus five (5) years industry experience University degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Currently licensed as a Registered Representative with the Canadian Investment Regulatory Organization (CIRO), or willing to complete all requirements to become licensed within 6 months Completion of the Investment Dealer Supervisors Course (IDSC) and additional regulatory requirements to be completed within required timeframes, where applicable.
