Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, etc. The salary range presented below is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. Salary range (but not limited to): 74,800 - 91,400 About the role We are looking for a Human Resources Consultant to join our HR Claims team for a 12-month contract opportunity! In this role, you will provide HR coaching and consulting to a fast-paced, operational leadership team in the Ontario Claims Contact Centre. You will be a member of a national HR Claims team and will contribute by providing strategic HR solutions to your business partners. This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your demonstrated HR expertise in employee relations and change management to help evolve people and operational practices for a large, complex client group! What you’ll do here: Provide HR coaching and advice to a regional business group, considering best people practices, trends, legislation and IFC values. Demonstrate curiosity, collect information, identify issues and opportunities to proactively propose solutions that create value-add contributions to our business partners. Ability to adapt recommendations to an evolving environment. Responsible for employee relations and performance matters end-to-end, ensuring fair, consistent outcomes and strong risk management; coach leaders to build confidence and capability. Drive talent, succession, and leadership development strategies (talent reviews, succession plans, targeted development), strengthening bench strength for all roles. Partner in building the BU engagement plan(s) using data/insights (engagement results, attrition, ER trends) to target root causes and improve the employee experience. Participate in various (integrity or respect in the workplace) investigations and coach leaders on conflict resolution best practices as required. Facilitate focus groups, training workshops and information sessions for employees and/or leaders. Responsible to collaborate with leaders of assigned client group for all annual HR cycles. Utilize market research and internal data analysis to anticipate business needs and craft proactive strategies for enhanced value-add HR partnership. Participate in regional or national projects and the deployment of corporate initiatives and programs as required. What you bring to the table: Post-secondary diploma or degree with a Human Resources specialization or a combination of education and work experience Minimum of 3 years of experience in an HR consulting/business partner role, including a minimum of 2 years focused on employee relations in a high-volume, fast paced contact centre environment Demonstrated passion to work within a highly collaborative environment with a focus on employee relations Proven ability to quickly establish and cultivate effective working relationships with business partners at various levels of the organization A flexible, agile, and resilient approach to working in a dynamic evolving work environment Proven track record of critical and strategic thinking to solve operational and/or complex problems Strong written and verbal communication, influence and interpersonal skills Technical expertise in Human Resources management and
