Position Summary
The Lead Bartender is responsible for the service of all beverages, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. Lead Bartenders are responsible for overseeing bar procedures and ensuring all staff are following alcohol service protocols. Lead Bartenders must be personable, professional, and able to work in an ever-changing fast-paced environment. The employee must maintain excellent attendance and be available to work events as scheduled per business need. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, is knowledgeable about a variety of beverages, and is passionate about creating a fun and memorable experience for every guest. Your ability to balance speed, service, and professionalism will help elevate the overall fan experience during every event. The team member must maintain excellent attendance and be available to work events as scheduled per business need. This role pays an hourly rate of $10.00-$12.00 and is tip eligible. Benefits for Part-Time roles: 401(k) Savings Plan, 401(k) matching. This position will remain open until November 27, 2026.
About the Venue
In 2014, leaders from Baylor University and the Waco community came together to form a new private club for Baylor alumni and staff, as well as the general Waco professional, civic, and social community. The Baylor Club is unique because it's one of the few private clubs in the nation located on a university campus. Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate the daily activities of bartenders, barbacks, and support staff. Ensure guests receive prompt, professional, and friendly service. Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to company standards. Monitor drink quality, presentation, portion control, and recipe compliance. Open and close the bar, including point of sales and end-of-shift procedures. Handle registers, reconcile sales, and report discrepancies. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering beverages, garnishes, and supplies. Conduct regular stock counts and minimize waste, breakage, and unauthorized product usage. Lead, train, and motivate bar staff. Assist with staff schedules and coordinate break times when required. Ensure compliance with alcohol-service laws, age-verification procedures, and responsible-service policies. Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and organization. Check bar equipment and report maintenance or safety issues. Handle customer complaints and resolve service issues professionally. Support promotions, events, and special beverage programs. Prepare
