 Security Clearance Status: Not Required Collins Aerospace is excited to welcome a talented Quality Inspector III. In this pivotal role, you'll be responsible for ensuring quality product is delivered to our valued aerospace customers by performing conformity inspections and coordinating non-conforming product dispositions within the compliance of AS9100.
What You Will Do
Use predetermined methods, operations, setups, prescribed specifications to inspect arriving, in process, and completed products for conformance to engineering requirements and in accordance with quality specifications. Use a variety of measuring devices, testing equipment, computer systems, and statistical control processes to perform in process, final bench and product feature inspections and inspection tasks. Inspects actual products on the floor and on-line. Performs First Article Inspections (FAI) and conformity inspections. Raises notifications of non-conformance, quarantines non-conforming product and, when approved to do so, provides disposition. Oversight and inspection of parts, materials and processes.
What You Will Learn
Advanced problem solving tools and techniques as a part of our CORE operating system Qualifications You Must Have: Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D in the US) or vocational/ technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
