McKesson Medical-Surgical is seeking an Area Sales Manager to lead our Post-Acute Care sales team across Texas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas. Job Summary
The Area Sales Manager is responsible for leading a team of Post-Acute Care Field Sales Representatives across Texas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas while delivering sustainable revenue growth and achieving business objectives. This leader will oversee a region projected to generate more than $125M in annual revenue, provide strategic direction to the team, and foster a high-performance culture focused on customer success, employee development, and operational excellence. Success in this role requires balancing business leadership with hands-on field engagement. The Area Sales Manager will partner closely with sales representatives, key customers, and internal stakeholders to drive growth, strengthen customer relationships, and ensure exceptional execution across the territory. The ideal candidate combines strong commercial acumen with a people-first leadership style and demonstrates a passion for coaching, developing talent, and leading by example.
Minimum Requirements
9 years professional experience 1+ years leading people directly or indirectly Valid Driver's License: 7-Year Motor Vehicle Record Check completed during pre-employment Preferred Location: To best support the territory, we strongly prefer candidates located in Dallas, Houston, or San Antonio, with Dallas being the preferred location.
