Together, we’re improving health and improving lives. Intern-QC SMT Labcorp is seeking an Intern-QC SMT to join our team at Shanghai, China . Internship Details: Duration : 30 weeks, full-time/Onsite Dates of Internship : Oct 2026-Jun 2027 Compensation : Paid internship Eligibility : Final-year students who are expected to graduate in July 2027 are preferred. However, students at all academic levels who are pursuing relevant fields of study are encouraged to apply.
About Team
The inlife-QC SMT department provides a range of services for sample management and study data quality control. In this department, you will learn gain an understanding of the overall preclinical study workflow Internship Assignment Summary: Students will gain real-world experience working as part of a pre-clinical drug development team in the laboratory. Learn how to receive blood samples and process and store them appropriately in accordance with study protocol requirements. Review in-life and clinical pathology data throughout the study process, and receive training on data review procedures. In addition, Learn how to read and interpret study protocols and SOPs, as well as gain knowledge of the GLP quality system and its application in preclinical research. At the end of training, the student will do a presentation to fulfill his/her understanding in the project assignment.
Minimum Qualifications
2027 graduates pursuing or holding a Bachelor's degree or above in Biomedical Sciences, Veterinary Medicine, or related disciplines. Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset, with the ability to work under pressure. Passionate, proactive, and eager to learn, with a strong sense of initiative and ambition. Proficiency in written English.
Preferred Qualifications
CET‑4 (College English Test Band 4). Additional Job Standards: Good organization and multitasking ability. Able to communicate effectively with excellent verbal/written communication skills. Exceptional problem-solving and critical-thinking skills. Creative and self-motivated individuals who work collaboratively in a high-performance team environment.
