To further strengthen our capabilities, we are looking for the Althofen site for a: Logistics Services Manager What a typical day looks like Management and optimization of intralogistics from material incoming and material allocation through to shipping (Expedit) Leadership responsibility for the Logistics Services area Personnel and capacity planning (further training and development) Supply Chain Security Automation and continuous improvement of intralogistics Recording of results and reporting Management of inventory and cycle counting Coordinate waste management and recycling activities, ensuring compliance with environmental and safety requirements. Drive waste reduction and recycling initiatives while maintaining required documentation. The experience we're looking to add to our team Technical and/or commercial education (HTL, HAK, university of applied sciences/university) Experience in logistics, warehousing, etc. Basic understanding of waste management, recycling and environmental compliance within a manufacturing environment. Demonstrated commitment to safety, environmental compliance and continuous improvement within an industrial environment Team player with assertiveness and a strong sense of responsibility Green Belt certification required Experience with ERP systems. Certification to inspect warehouse racking/shelving systems. Experience with automated warehouses is an advantage.
