About this role
What Talent Acquisition contributes to Cardinal Health Human Resources designs, implements and delivers human resource programs and policies, including recruitment, talent management, diversity and inclusion, compensation and benefits, among others. This function anticipates and plans for long-term human resource needs in alignment with business strategies. Talent Acquisition attracts, identifies and acquires skilled labor to support business needs and develops strategies for growing the organization's talent pool. This family evaluates and screens talent using skills assessments, testing and reference checking, and manages internal and external job advertising and posting. This family also manages relationships with third party recruiting agencies, prospects talent at employment fairs and on campus at educational institutions, and manages new employee induction.
Qualifications
6-8 years of talent sourcing experience required. Masters/Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred A background in the software industry, with an understanding of today’s competitive landscape for tech recruiting. Familiarity with relevant tools and programs (applicant tracking systems, LinkedIn, referral programs, and job boards) Proven track record for successfully identifying and filling technical roles with exceptional candidates in high growth environments. The ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations and a knack for finding creative ways to hire top tech talent Experience in handling product, technology, niche & volume hiring. In this role, you will be required to: Utilize various resources such as LinkedIn, Job Boards, Boolean Searches, and Social Platforms, to build the candidate pipeline. Find creative ways to engage both active and passive candidates to pursue opportunities with Cardinal Health. Conduct market research around the talent market trends to provide relevant insights to the stakeholders What is expected of you and others at this level Applies basic concepts, principles and technical capabilities to perform routine tasks Works on projects of limited scope and complexity Follows established procedures to resolve readily identifiable technical problems Works under direct supervision and receives detailed instructions Develops competence by performing structured work assignments Candidates who are back-to-work, people with disabilities, without a college degree, and Veterans are encouraged to apply.
