**_About This Role_**

A Day in the Life of a Production Planner Intern:

+ Interpreting material requirements based on Supply / Demand analysis

+ Issue and track Purchase Requisitions through the procurement process until material is received and available for manufacturing

+ Issue discrete job work orders to production and track through completion of manufacturing process

+ Interface and communicate with program management and engineering on behalf of the ISC team

+ Advises management of the status of work in progress, material availability, and potential production problems or risks to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials and services are available as needed

+ Take on and lead project\(s\) as assigned

**_Qualifications_**

+ Currently pursuing bachelor’s degree in supply chain or related fields and/or less than 2 years of relevant work experience\.

+ Ability to work independently, highly organized with great attention to detail

+ Familiarity with MS Word, Excel, & PowerPoint

+ Basic understanding of MRP

+ Ability to work in a team environment

+ Excellent communications/interpersonal skills

+ This position requires an individual to be a U\.S citizen with the ability to obtain a security clearance\.
