Total Number of Openings 1 Chevron Global Business Services (GBS), located in Buenos Aires (Puerto Madero), Argentina, is accepting online applications for the position of Full Stack Software Engineer. Successful candidates will join the IT Company which is part of a successful multifunction service center with a workforce of more than 1800 employees delivering business services and solutions across the globe. This position plays an active role in the software development lifecycle by designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software solutions using Microsoft Azure services.
Responsibilities
Deliver complex software features and components with high quality and minimal supervision. Allocate effort across development, bug fixing, refactoring, and technical improvements. Take ownership of assigned technical tasks from design through implementation and support. Balance feature delivery with technical debt reduction and code quality improvements. Contribute to sprint planning by estimating, sizing, and committing to work items. Prioritize work to meet sprint goals, release timelines, and production stability. Support production issues and participate in root cause analysis when required. Leverage and advocate within SCRUM development team use of AI advances such as Github Copilot to accelerate delivery of value to the business. Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, architects, and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Required Qualifications
C#/.NET (Framework and .NET Core/.NET 8+) with 5+ years of experience. Typescript and frontend frameworks (Angular and/or React) with 3+ years of experience. Relational Databases (SQL, DML, DDL, data modeling) at least 2 years Cloud Platforms (Azure, CI/CD) at least 2 years REST APIs (building & consuming) at least 3 years Software Design Principles (clean code, refactoring, debugging) at least 3 years Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Python Experience with ansible Experience with NoSQL databases Experience with automated testing (unit and integration) Expertise with Azure cloud services, including App Services, Azure Functions, API Management, Service Bus, Event Grid, Key Vault, Storage, and Application Insights. Experience integrating Generative AI, LLM, Azure OpenAI, or AI-enabled engineering solutions into enterprise applications. Experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), containerization (Docker), and cloud-native architectures. Relocation Options: Relocation could be considered.
