JDAM Senior Program Manager Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) is seeking a Senior Program Manager (Level M) to lead the execution of the Joint Direct Attack Munition (JDAM) Program in St. Charles MO . The selected candidate will be working with the USAF JDAM Program Office out of Hill AFB and the Laser JDAM Program Office out of Patuxent River, Maryland. The program manager will ensure resources are provided for program execution in both rate production and development areas of the JDAM program. Significant interaction is expected with both domestic and international Customer communities. This position will report to the Direct Attack Director and will be responsible for the customer relationship for JDAM, Laser JDAM and all existing and new JDAM derivatives. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Position
Responsibilities: Manages employees and mid-level managers performing business management activities in the area of Program Management. Develops and executes integrated organizational plans, policies and procedures and guides the development of business and technical strategies, goals, objectives. Acquires resources for organizational activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements. Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports. Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes. Manages, develops and motivates employees and mid-level managers. This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. (An Interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post Start is required.) Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Bachelor’s degree or higher 5+ years of experience in project or program management 5+ years of experience leading through influence and partnering with cross-functional teams on projects, transactions, or initiatives Experience with proposals for new business Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Experience in weapons and missile systems Master's degree Experience working with international customers Experience executing Production contracts to meet delivery commitments 2+ years of experience in a management role working with both direct reports and business unit leaders Leading Development program for new programs or projects Relocation: This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.
