About this role
Casa Brera, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Milan is currently recruiting a Multi-Property Director of Sales. Reporting to the Multi-Property General Manager, the Multi-Property Director of Sales is responsible for leading all sales and commercial activities for Casa Brera, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Milan and The Rome EDITION. This role provides strategic leadership across Sales, Groups & Events, and Reservations, driving revenue growth, market share, profitability, and customer loyalty. The position requires a highly commercial, results-driven leader who can develop and execute integrated sales strategies, build strong customer relationships, and inspire high-performing teams across two luxury properties. SCOPE OF WORK The Multi-Property Director of Sales is accountable for the overall commercial performance of both hotels by:
Achieving revenue, market share, booking pace, and profitability objectives. Developing and executing integrated sales, distribution, and commercial strategies aligned with Marriott International and brand priorities. Identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities to drive sustainable revenue growth. Building and maintaining strong relationships with key customers, ownership, business partners, and Marriott stakeholders. Maximizing hotel visibility and market positioning through strategic account management and business development initiatives. Driving customer satisfaction, loyalty, and long-term value through exceptional commercial leadership. Leading, developing, and inspiring Sales, Groups & Events, and Reservations teams across both properties. Ensuring commercial discipline, financial stewardship, and compliance with Marriott standards, policies, and procedures.
Core Work Activities Commercial Strategy & Sales Leadership
Develops and executes short and long-term sales strategies to maximize revenue and market share across both properties. Leads proactive and reactive sales efforts, account management, prospecting, and business development activities. Evaluates market conditions, customer trends, and competitive intelligence to identify opportunities and mitigate risks. Partners closely with Revenue Management, Marketing, and Operations teams to optimize pricing, segmentation, distribution, and demand generation strategies. Participates in strategic sales planning, forecasting, budgeting, and performance reviews. Ensures effective deployment of Marriott sales channels, demand engines, and commercial resources.
Customer & Stakeholder Relationships
Establishes and maintains strong relationships with key accounts, corporate clients, luxury travel partners, and industry stakeholders. Represents both properties within the local and international business community, strengthening awareness and market presence. Collaborates with Marriott commercial teams and regional partners to identify and secure new business opportunities. Promotes a customer-centric culture focused on service excellence, loyalty, and long-term relationship development.
Team Leadership & Talent Development
Provides strategic direction and day-to-day leadership to Sales, Groups & Events, and Reservations teams. Creates a high-performance culture built on accountability, collaboration, engagement, and continuous improvement. Coaches, mentors, and develops team members to strengthen commercial capabilities and future leadership talent. Partners with Human Resources to support talent acquisition, succession planning, retention, and associate development initiatives. Establishes clear objectives, performance expectations, and development plans that support both individual and business success.
Financial & Commercial Performance
Leads the commercial planning process, including annual budgets, forecasts, and business plans. Monitors and analyzes key business performance indicators including Revenue, ADR, RevPAR, market share, production, conversion, and profitability.
