Position
Summary The Desktop Support S pecialist works as part of the IT Desktop Support team to provide customer-focused technical support to F5 employees. In this role, you will be responsible for the setup, deployment, and troubleshooting of Windows 11, macOS, and mobile devices, as well as printers, conferencing gear, WIFI, LAN and tools like Zoom. You will work with asset management systems using ServiceNow and gain hands-on experience with Azure for managing user and computer accounts. Key Responsibilities
Assist with setting up and deploying Windows devices using Intune and macOS devices using JAMF Install and troubleshoot operating systems (Windows 11, macOS, iOS, Android), productivity software, O365, SharePoint, mobile devices, and collaboration tools such as Zoom Track IT assets and use ServiceNow for ticket management and asset tracking Manage user and device accounts in Azure under guidance from senior team members Collaborate with team members to provide high-quality support to end users, both remotely and in person Respond to HelpDesk requests, document actions taken, and escalate issues to senior IT staff as appropriate Participate in deploying new hardware and software and assist with onboarding new users Contribute to maintaining a positive and professional customer experience Create and modify KB articles and learn how we leverage KCS methodologies Uphold F5's Business Code of Ethics and Company policies Perform other related duties as assigned to support the IT team and professional development Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Interest in computers, networks, technology, and customer service Willingness to learn and develop expertise in Windows 11, macOS, mobile devices, printers, networking and collaboration tools like Zoom Ability to follow instructions, ask questions, and learn from feedback Strong communication and teamwork skills Basic to intermediate understanding of computer hardware and software Ability to stay organized and document work clearly Openness to new technology and a desire to learn in a fast-paced environment Ability to manage multiple support requests and prioritize tasks effectively Work Environment Use of standard office equipment, such as a computer and phone Fast-paced, team-oriented, and collaborative environment Expectation to adapt to changing technologies and business needs Email communication and open office environment Full-time, on-site or hybrid work schedule based on location Why You'll Love F5 Seamless Transition: Move from internship to full-time with continuity in your team, projects, and growth trajectory Professional Development: Continue developing your skills with ongoing training, mentorship, and access to advanced learning opportunities Meaningful Work: Contribute to real business impact and solve complex enterprise data challenges Collaborative Culture: Work alongside experienced analysts, engineers,
