DESCRIPTION: As an Inventory Coordinator I at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you'll contribute to global healthcare and scientific advancement. In this role, you'll ensure accurate inventory management for critical materials that help our customers make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer. You'll perform essential inventory control functions including cycle counts, stock reconciliation, and inventory movements while maintaining compliance with quality standards and operating procedures. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain accurate records, resolve discrepancies, and ensure proper storage of materials ranging from pharmaceutical supplies to laboratory essentials. This position offers opportunities for growth and development while contributing to scientific discoveries and healthcare solutions. REQUIREMENTS: • No prior experience required. Experience with inventory management systems and warehouse operations preferred • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel • Ability to operate material handling equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers • Physical capability to lift up to 50-70 lbs and work in various temperature environments • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping • Ability to follow SOPs and GMP guidelines in a regulated environment • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to investigate/resolve inventory discrepancies • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Schedule flexibility required • Valid driver's license required • Must be able to work in temperature-controlled environments (room temperature, cold rooms, and freezers) • Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, bending, reaching, and handling materials • Basic math skills for counting and inventory reconciliation • Must not have allergies to specific pharmaceuticals (where applicable) Compensation and Benefits The hourly pay range estimated for this position Inventory Coordinator I based in Massachusetts is $20.00–$20.10. This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
