Red Chris is an open-pit copper-gold mine in the famous Golden Triangle of northern British Columbia, situated on the traditional territory of the Tahltan Nation. As a fly-in, fly-out operation, Red Chris is reached via charter flights from multiple locations in BC and Alberta, with teams working on a rotational schedule. Currently an active open-pit producer, Red Chris is poised for an exciting transformation – we are developing a high-value underground block cave that will extend the mine’s life for decades and unlock even more resources. The remote location fosters a close-knit “camp” community where safety and teamwork come first. Your Contribution



As a Project HSE Lead, you will provide senior health, safety and risk leadership for the Red Chris Block Cave Project. You will be accountable for leading project HSE execution across multiple contractors, work fronts, and high-risk construction activities while driving implementation of the Project HSE Operating System. This role provides significant influence and authority across project operations, contractor management, workforce readiness, critical risk management, incident investigation, and regulatory compliance. As a key member of the Project Functional Team, you will provide leadership continuity, develop HSE capability, and support the safe, efficient, and successful delivery of one of Canada's most significant mining projects

As a part of our team, you will



• Provide senior HSE leadership across all project activities, ensuring effective implementation of the Project HSE Operating System and alignment with Newmont standards, regulatory requirements, and project objectives.

• Lead critical risk management, contractor governance, workforce readiness, mobilization, and assurance programs across multiple concurrent work fronts.

• Partner with Project Leadership, EPCM teams, and contractors to drive HSE performance, operational discipline, and safe project delivery.
