In this role, you’ll manage and administer the backbone of our technological infrastructure. You'll be the architect of the system, shaping the base definition, structure, and documentation to ensure the long-term success of our business operations.

Maintain and Protect: •Optimize systems: Your expertise will be crucial in configuring, installing and maintaining database management systems, ensuring that our systems are always running at peak performance. •Set security protocols: You'll be responsible for managing user access and implementing policies and procedures to protect our valuable data from unauthorized access and external threats. Strategize to Scale: •Plan ahead: You will conduct capacity planning and growth projections based on usage, ensuring that our system is always scalable to meet our business needs. •Make progress: You'll be a strategic partner, working closely with various teams to coordinate systematic database project plans that align with our organizational goals. •Generate ideas: You'll have the opportunity to propose and implement enhancements that will improve the performance and reliability of the system, enabling us to deliver world-class services to our customers. Recover and Resolve: •Be ready to recover: Develop strong backup and recovery plans to ensure that our system is always protected in the event of a failure. •Support solutions: Use your technical acumen to support end users and application developers in solving complex problems related to our database systems.

Required skills and experience: • Oracle DB implementation and management • SQL • Mongo DB • PostGreSQL • DBA migration & modernization • Vulnerability management • Exadata • GoldenGate • Preferred skills and experience: • Public/private cloud management, especially migration from on-prem to cloud. The position will be governed by the Italian National Collective Bargaining Agreement for Employees of the Metalworking Industry (Contratto Collettivo Nazionale di Lavoro per i dipendenti dell’Industria Metalmeccanica e della Installazione di Impianti), with classification as  Quadro.   The employment contract may be offered as a  permanent employment contract  (contratto a tempo indeterminato).   The salary range for the position in Italy is € 49.530,00 to € 89.180,00 based on a full-time schedule at the time of posting.
