We are looking for someone to join our central Services team in Google.org as an Operational process manager for contracting of all types. We are on a transformation journey to automate Google.org’s operational process, and we need a strategic owner to drive execution and help land our next wave of cross-functional solutions. As part of Google.org, the Services team drives investment operations to advance Google.org’s funding goals. We do this by interfacing with stakeholders across Google and bringing operational excellence through outsourced execution to deliver more than $900M a year in cash to external recipients worldwide. Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Oversee day-to-day operations to enable the global Google.org team to meet its contracting and funding goals, with a focus on delivery and issue resolution. Collaborate globally with external partners, such as vendor operations and donor-advised funds, to set objectives, implement process improvements, and monitor vendor team performance. Partner with internal stakeholders across legal, compliance, partnerships, and finance to align goals and drive process improvements. Serve as a domain expert on legal policies, workflows, and tools to help stakeholders navigate operational processes. Drive change management for strategic and operational areas by developing transition plans, performing implementation risk analyses, and providing process training.
Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. 5 years of experience in program or project management. Preferred qualifications: Experience leveraging AI tools or methodologies to identify and resolve operational inefficiencies. Experience managing the full lifecycle of multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment with changing priorities and deadlines. Experience collaborating cross-functionally to solve complex problems, drive project ownership, and align business objectives. Experience synthesizing stakeholder requirements and guiding teams through complex operational processes. Knowledge of contracting and funding operations, including various types of funding mechanisms and associated tooling.
