About this role
Our Merchant Services team (a part of the Commercial & Investment Bank, J.P. Morgan) provides end-to-end payment processing and merchant acquiring solutions that allow businesses to accept credit cards, debit cards, mobile wallets, and digital payments. As an Omnichannel Solutions Product Manager within the Merchant Services team, you are an integral leader responsible for bridging the gap between strategy and the end-to-end activities required for implementation and launch. You will own stakeholder management across Product, Technology and other partner teams to ensure strategic decisions translate into a clear and executable delivery plan and ultimately a successful solution launch. You will bring deep knowledge of the European payments industry—particularly the omnichannel and card terminal landscape—paired with the ability to rapidly get up to speed on our platform capabilities, roadmap, and PDLC. You will define and own solution requirements and associated artifacts (requirements, client experience expectations, and end-to-end solution thinking), ensuring qualified customer insights are translated into actionable product requirements to build a scalable base solution. As the solution is delivered and stabilizes, you will then help shape and prioritize iteration paths to expand beyond the initial use case, meeting more specific client and segment needs over time.
Job responsibilities

Partner with Technology and platform stakeholders to agree scope, sequencing, dependencies, resourcing, and delivery milestones; proactively manage risks, tradeoffs, and decisions to keep delivery on track to launch. Own stakeholder communication and alignment across a highly matrixed organization; establish the operating cadence, decision forums, and documentation required to deliver. Lead configuration and modification of the firm’s products and solutions, often in partnership with Technology, to fit complex client use cases Identify and define development requirements for product design enhancements based on qualified customer feedback and platform opportunities. Translate customer needs into product requirements. Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills Significant experience in payments with an understanding of physical and digital merchant payment ecosystems, including payment gateways and integration best practices. Strong knowledge of the European payments market and what is required to create, sell, and launch in‑store / omnichannel solutions. Demonstrated ability to apply a deep technical understanding to solution configurations in a specific domain and to quickly learn platform capabilities, constraints, and delivery dependencies. Proven ability to bridge strategy and execution—translating decisions into scoped roadmaps, delivery plans, and launch outcomes. Experience working with clients and ecosystem partners in a technology field and interfacing with engineers. Demonstrated thought leadership in omnichannel payments, with a track record of influencing strategy and driving innovation. Proven ability to translate complex customer insights into actionable
