The Office of the CISO Lead – Cybersecurity Operations & Engineering is a strategic advisor and operational leader within Aon’s global security organization. The role drives execution, alignment, and organizational effectiveness across Cybersecurity Operations, Data Defense, and Counter Threat Engineering. Key Responsibilities

Strategic execution: Translate CISO and cybersecurity leadership priorities into coordinated plans, measurable objectives, achievements, and accountable outcomes. Operating cadence: Own executive planning, leadership governance routines, business reviews, portfolio checkpoints, and follow-through across Cybersecurity Operations & Engineering. Portfolio and program leadership: Coordinate complex, multi-functional cybersecurity programs; manage dependencies, sequencing, resources, and delivery risk across multiple technical teams. Executive decision support: Prepare concise briefings, dashboards, recommendations, and decision materials that enable timely, data-informed leadership action. Performance and metrics: Work with Senior Leadership team to define and mature operational measures, key performance indicators, key risk indicators, and reporting routines that improve transparency and accountability. Risk and issue management: Identify execution challenges, organizational risks, and critical dependencies; drive resolution or advance with clear options and recommendations. Multi-functional alignment: Serve as connective tissue across security teams and collaborators including developers, infrastructure, and AI governance teams. Operational readiness: Coordinate planning and readiness activities for global cybersecurity priorities, major changes, high-impact events, and evolving business requirements. Organizational planning: Support workforce planning, talent priorities, budget activities, capacity management, and investment decisions across the organization. Communications and engagement: Develop leadership communications, organizational updates, meeting materials, and narratives that create clarity, reinforce priorities, and support colleague engagement. Continuous improvement: Establish repeatable operating practices, remove friction, and lead initiatives that improve delivery quality, organizational maturity, resilience, and efficiency. Leadership priorities are clearly defined, sequenced, communicated, and consistently accomplished. Executives receive timely, accurate, and decision-ready insight into performance, risk, investment, and delivery. Multi-functional cybersecurity initiatives move faster with stronger ownership, fewer unresolved dependencies, and improved transparency. Operating routines and metrics reinforce accountability, continuous improvement, and alignment across teams. Cybersecurity Operations & Engineering demonstrates growing operational sophistication, durability, and measurable value to Aon. Skills and experience that will lead to success 8 or more years of experience supporting CISO, CIO, technology executive, chief of staff function, transformation office, or enterprise security leadership team. Experience working within a cybersecurity operations team or enterprise security team as a technical leader or leading security teams and programs. Experience working across regions, cultures, and time zones in a matrixed global organization. Significant leadership experience
